I work with individuals, starting with children age four years old and up, as well as with families. Upon moving to North Tahoe in 2018, I worked at Tahoe SAFE Alliance as the Children’s Program therapist, where I provided individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults who have either experienced or witnessed child abuse, sexual assault and/or domestic violence. Prior to starting at Tahoe SAFE Alliance, I worked as a case manager on the SCBH Youth and Family Services Team, carrying a caseload of 27 high risk youth with moderate to severe mental illness. I began my career at Sonoma County as a behavioral health clinician on the Crisis Assessment Prevention And Education (CAPE) Team. As a clinician on this team, I conducted clinical assessments, including suicide and violence risk assessments and 5150 evaluations, crisis intervention, I provided individual counseling, helped connect individuals to services within the community, provided grief counseling and tragedy response, presented suicide prevention trainings, and conducted assessments and home visits following individuals’ discharge from a psychiatric hospitalization.
